Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead based in Rochester, New Hampshire

I build reliable full‑stack systems, automate business‑critical workflows, modernize legacy tools, and help teams turn complex production problems into maintainable software.

I’m strongest in environments where systems are messy, uptime matters, and the business needs someone who can bridge development, operations, QA, and leadership.

Engineering Philosophy

“Write code that is easy to read and understand. There is nothing worse than going into old code and finding something somebody thought was clever and now nobody else understands.”

I strongly believe in reliability over hype, practical engineering solutions, automating repetitive work whenever possible, and shipping working systems that can then be refined and improved over time. I enjoy debugging, optimization, automation, architecture, and scaling systems that are actively used in production.

A large part of my career has involved solving problems inside systems that were already under pressure. Whether that meant stabilizing production outages, redesigning infrastructure to support larger clients, adapting to browser changes that broke tracking systems, or integrating with entirely new data pipelines under strict privacy requirements, I have always enjoyed solving the kinds of problems where there is no obvious answer.

Leadership & Mentoring

At C3 Metrics I helped build and lead both development and QA teams. Over time the development team grew to roughly 10 developers while the QA department expanded to around 8 team members. I was heavily involved in mentoring junior developers, helping new graduates transition into professional environments, and teaching practical coding and operational skills that are rarely covered in school.

I regularly coordinated with executive leadership, QA management, developers, and account management teams to keep onboarding schedules, deployments, client expectations, and technical priorities aligned.

Production Reliability

I spent years serving as the primary on‑call escalation point for critical production systems. During one major incident, nearly 200 servers began cascade failing simultaneously. While systems were being rebooted, they continued failing repeatedly within minutes.

After tracing the issue through the platform, the root cause was identified as an unexpected database entry that destabilized the environment. Once corrected, the infrastructure stabilized and downtime was minimized before overnight operations were impacted.

Jack of All Trades

Outside of development work, I am comfortable with general IT operations including networking, hardware, troubleshooting, infrastructure, cybersecurity fundamentals, AI tooling, local model hosting, and system administration. I recently earned my CompTIA Security+ certification to continue strengthening that broader technical foundation.

I have always naturally gravitated toward understanding how systems work internally and how to make them more efficient, more stable, and easier to use.
